In addition to this technical foundation, Ray is based in Finland and fully complies with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), widely regarded as the strictest data privacy law in the world.

This means your personal data is handled with transparency, limited collection, and strong protections by default. Ray does not sell or store personalized data for advertising or third-party monetization. You can game and browse with confidence, knowing your privacy is protected by both strong technical safeguards and legally binding privacy standards.

I'm getting an error when installing Ray. Is it a virus?

No, Ray is not a virus. This issue usually happens because antivirus software or firewalls block new programs that haven't yet been widely allowlisted. Ray is a legitimate company based in Finland and complies with strict European GDPR privacy regulations.

To fix the issue, temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall, run the installer, and then turn your protection back on. You can also allowlist Ray to avoid future problems.
